Title: Instrumentation & Electrical Superintendent

Location: Western US

Compensation: DOE

Summary – Our client is a world-class mining organization with operations around the globe. We are helping them to identify an Instrumentation & Electrical Superintendent. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will lead the IE team, maximizing the value of the operations and lead the safety culture.

They will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

? Leading and developing 5 front line supervisors and crew of 40 FTE

? Identifying and acting on opportunities to increase value generation

? Interacting with technical specialists to bring additional expertise to bear when required and to drive operation performance

? Building and maintaining effective and safety organization culture

? Coaching people and providing development opportunities that enable high performance

? Taking ownership over efficient/effective problem solving, decision-making, and action at the right levels

? Instilling a culture of employee ownership in facility care and operation

Qualifications/Experience etc.:

? Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or related field

? 5-10 years of supervision/operations experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, mining environments

? Proven leadership experience

? Ability to work in multi-functional and multi-disciplinary teams

? Strong communication and leadership skills to manage the team

? Strong electrical and instrumentation background

? Ability to work towards continuous improvement team performance
