Job Summary: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the coordination and administration of all human resources programs for the operations in accordance with the company’s policies, practices and procedures. Responsible for representing the Corporation in a positive way throughout the community.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Overall responsibility for Human Resources activities for the Corporation
  • Serve as a link between the company and the employees by handling questions and resolving issues
  • Develop all Human Resources programs and practices to be followed by the company; incorporating all applicable employment legislation requirements
  • Lead the performance management process
  • Establish the reward and recognition programs within industry standards
  • Administers and manages all benefit programs
  • Provides advice and guidance on payroll
  • Develops and facilitates the succession management and career development processes
  • Develops and initiate team building, communication, training and development activities
  • Leads and manage policy development related to Human Resources
  • Monitors best practices and stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of Human Resources
  • Administers the recruitment process-assist in advertising, arrange interviews, liaison with recruiters, perform reference checks, draft employment contracts, manage careers website, assist in the orientation and exit process
  • Creates and maintain personnel files for new employees and ensure contracts are signed and induction paperwork is complete
  • Maintains all personnel files updated including vacation, absenteeism and discipline records
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and competency in Human Resources functions

Education and /or Experience:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience

Language Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in all forms
  • Possess the ability to manage conflict for positive outcomes

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • HR certification is preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Possess the ability to influence outcomes utilizing positive methods
  • Strong team player with the ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
