Summary: Our client operates the largest single-line proppant plant in Texas. We are helping them to find a Maintenance Manager for their new operation in Central Texas.
The Maintenance Manager would be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Developing, implementing, and managing the plant maintenance program, with an emphasis on planning, scheduling and preventative/predictive maintenance.
- Monitoring the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
- Establishing and maintaining a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
- Preparing reports, analyzing data, and making recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
- Monitoring the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Tracking, analyzing, and improving key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization and maintenance costs.
- Supervising plant personnel and ensuring that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Communicating directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
Qualifications/Experience etc:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or other closely related field required
- Five plus years of supervisory experience in a processing plant type environment preferred
- Ability to work effectively with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and instruct others on its operation.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities and exceptional troubleshooting skills
- Initiative and ability to prioritize work, recognizing the need for doing thorough and complete work, but at the same time addressing the demanding schedule requirements.
