US Sales Manager

Summary:
The US Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets by developing/maintaining/managing new business throughout the United States. Responsibilities include defining and implementing the strategy needed to successfully market and sell products into various markets. The position requires developing standard solutions, building relationships in the industry, defining related service opportunities, and providing product marketing, training, and sales support.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Meeting sales and profit goals as defined for the market
• Provide input to the forecasting process for the region
• Prepare monthly sales reports as required
• Manage existing and new accounts ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through identifying areas in which new value can be added to customers as well as rectifying any issues promptly
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the region and, in particular, customer needs and requirements
• Setting and implementing strategic product line plans
• Working with domestic and international sales teams to locate opportunities, provide direct sales support to perspective customers, and close orders
• Creating and implementing marketing, sales and training programs
• Managing the relationships with suppliers/manufacturers, including negotiating all types of agreements
• Developing and implementing a succession plan for this position

Minimum Qualification:

• An undergraduate degree and five or more years experience in engineering and/or marketing management
• Strong business and product development experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• MBA degree
• Experience within Mining Industry; technical sales, field sales and/or product marketing
